Lucas City Hall

In response to Governor Abbott’s Executive Order GA-34, the City of Lucas is lifting its COVID-19 restrictions effective Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

However, your health and safety continue to be extremely important to the City and therefore, you are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines and continue to wear face coverings and maintain six feet of distance from another person not in the same household.

  • Park facilities are open and available for use by the public following the City’s established rules.
  • City Hall continues to be open to the public and while face coverings are no longer mandated, for the safety of others, masks/face coverings along with distancing are encouraged.
  • the Lucas Fire Station lobby will be open to the public; however, Lucas Fire-Rescue’s community outreach program and special events are postponed. We hope to reinstate these programs in the near future.
  • Beginning March 10, 2021, all City of Lucas public meetings will no longer impose in-person limitations inside the Council Chambers. Again, to protect the health of others, masks are encouraged.
