PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Lucas, Texas will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at Lucas City Hall, 665 Country Club, Lucas, Texas to consider the annexation of Brockdale Park Boat Ramp.
The property is approximately 169.4220 acres of land, more fully described as being out of the Francis W. Capps Survey, Abstract No. 231; the Simpson Barrow Survey, Abstract No. 49; the Michael Millirons Survey, Abstract No. 564; the Orpha Shelby Survey, Abstract No. 799; the D.M. Farmer Survey, Abstract No. 303; and the Montgomery Birch Survey, Abstract No. 115, Collin County, Texas.
The tract is generally bounded on the north by the south right-of-way line of East Lucas Road, on the west by the east line of the Corps of Engineers annexation per City of Lucas Ordinance No. 2012-01-00699, on the east by the ultimate city limit line between the Cities of Wylie and Lucas per City of Wylie Ordinance No. 87-47, and includes a small triangular parcel of land around the Brockdale Park Boat Ramp.
