Blood Pressure Checks
The City of Lucas Fire-Rescue offers free blood pressure checks to members of the community. If you haven't had your blood pressure screened recently or you feel the need to have it checked, we encourage you to stop by the fire station and let us check it for you.
We would love for you to come by the station to view our beautiful facility and equipment. Please call 972-727-1242 to arrange a tour for your family or small group. Please understand that station tours are subject to change due to emergency calls.
Community CPR Classes
The City of Lucas Fire-Rescue offers free quarterly Community CPR Classes through out the year. This class will certify you in Adult/Child/Infant CPR and AED use through the American Heart Association which will be valid for 2 years after the class. If you need additional information or would like to sign up for an upcoming class you can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call 972-727-1242.
File of Life
The File of Life is a program designed to provide important information about you when you are unable to speak for yourself in a medical emergency. It is free for all members of the community that would like to participate.
How Does the Program Work?
Participants fill out a simple questionnaire about their medical history and place it on their refrigerator door. A File of Life decal is placed on their door to alert emergency responders. To obtain a File of Life you can come by the fire station and we will be happy to assist you. For more information you can call 972-727-1242.
