City of Lucas Water/Trash/Recycling Service Application & Agreement

  • For water and trash service, requests are required to be submitted 24 - 48 hours in advance. The City of Lucas will attempt to have requests completed within 24 hours depending on current workload needs. Requests are fulfilled Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. Carts will be delivered on the Wednesday following activation of service.

    **Note: Additional trash carts are $13.19 per cart. If you are a commercial customer, you may contract with the provider of your choice as the City of Lucas does not provide commercial trash or recycling.
  • **Note: Additional recycle carts are $5.44 per cart. If you would like additional carts for recycling, please enter the additional amount that you would like. If you are a commercial customer, you may contract with the provider of your choice as the City of Lucas does not provide commercial trash or recycling.
  • *Note: A $100 in-city deposit or $125 out-of-city deposit (payable by cash, check, money order or credit card) is due at the time of this application for water service. This water deposit will be kept on your account until the account is closed or transferred. The deposit will then be applied to the final water bill.
    The City of Lucas has NIXLE, which is an emergency notification system to notify the public of emergency situations (e.g. traffic accidents, water outages, etc.) via text and email.
