City of Lucas Water/Trash/Recycling Service Application & Agreement

For water and trash service, requests are required to be submitted 24 - 48 hours in advance. The City of Lucas will attempt to have requests completed within 24 hours depending on current workload needs. Requests are fulfilled Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. Carts will be delivered on the Wednesday following activation of service.

**Note: Additional trash carts are $13.19 per cart. If you are a commercial customer, you may contract with the provider of your choice as the City of Lucas does not provide commercial trash or recycling.

In certain situations, the City may be granted, now or in the future, easements, or right-of-way for the purpose of installing, maintaining, and operating such pipelines, meter, valves, and any other such equipment which may be deemed necessary by the City to operate its municipal water system. The City of Lucas shall locate a water service meter and the pipe necessary to connect the meter on the owner’s property in accordance with Chapter 13 of the City of Lucas Code of Ordinances Sections 13.021.103 and 13.02.099. The City shall have access to its property and equipment located upon the owner’s premises at all reasonable times. The City of Lucas prohibits the connection of service pipelines from its water service meter to any private well or other unknown water supply. By execution of the application and agreement, owner/applicants shall guarantee payment of all rates, fees, and charges due on this account.
