The uniqueness of the City of Lucas lifestyle and landscape translates into a great city to work for in North Texas. We currently have a little more than 30 full time employees in our four departments: Administration & Finance, Development Services, Fire-Rescue, and Public Works. There are also 40+/- volunteer Fire-Rescue personnel to complement our professional 11 full time Fire-Rescue staff.
The Human Resources activities are part of the Administration & Finance staff in Lucas. The purpose of our professional HR endeavors is to produce a positive setting where everyone matters and shares in operation of the city. This is done by providing individual service to all employees and volunteers. Our goal is a well trained staff dedicated to customer service.
