Hey Lucas neighbors!
As the Texas sun cranks up the heat, we’re making a small shift to keep our hardworking CWD crews safe and sound. Starting Monday, June 2, trash and recycling services in the City of Lucas will begin bright and early at 6:00 a.m. – and this change will stick around through the end of August.
🌞 Why the Early Start?
This temporary schedule is all about helping our crews “Beat the Heat.” With earlier start times, they can get their routes done before the most intense heat of the day sets in. It’s a simple step that makes a big difference in safety and comfort.
🗓 What You Need to Do
Make sure your bins are at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on your regular trash and recycling days. Setting them out the night before is a great way to avoid any early-morning hustle!
