As we prepare to celebrate the Fourth of July, please take note of a temporary change to your residential waste and recycling service schedule in Lucas.

In observance of Independence Day on Friday, July 4, Community Waste Disposal (CWD) will not be collecting on the holiday itself. Instead:

πŸ“† Your regular Friday collection will take place on Saturday, July 5.

Please have your bins out by 7:00 AM on Saturday to ensure pickup.

We appreciate your cooperation as we adjust to the holiday schedule. These small changes help us continue providing reliable service to all residents while giving our hardworking sanitation crews time to celebrate with their families.

From all of us at the City of Lucas, we wish you a safe, joyful, and spark-filled Fourth of July!✨
