The City of Lucas will be conducting a pavement maintenance project beginning Wednesday, July 17 through Thursday, July 25. During this time, crews will be applying seal coating to help rejuvenate and extend the life of the following roadways:

Lakeview Drive

North Star Road

Bloom Street
Traffic Impacts and Safety Measures
Flaggers will be present throughout the project to help manage traffic and ensure the safety of both workers and motorists. While crews are working, some temporary delays may occur in the affected areas.
Motorists are asked to take the following precautions:

Avoid driving on freshly coated roads for at least two hours after application. This allows the material to properly cure and adhere to the pavement.

If travel is necessary, please proceed slowly and with caution to minimize the risk of splashing the coating onto vehicles.
