Stormwater Information

The City of Lucas Engineering Department is responsible for managing the requirements of the Texas Pollution Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) stormwater discharge permit to meet local municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) requirements.

Residents are encouraged to help out by keeping their properties clear of pollutants and are invited to participate in one or more of the cleanup events held by the city each year, such as the the KLB Spring Cleanup and the Public Lands Trail Cleanup.

Anything entering the storm drainage system other than stormwater is a stormwater pollutant. To report Stormwater Pollution, please email [email protected] or call 972-912-1209. Otherwise, you may call the Stormwater Runoff Hotline at 214-644-8999.

Please refer any complaints about illegal trash dumping to Code Enforcement.
