Board of Adjustment

The role of the Board of Adjustment is to authorize, upon appeal in special cases, variances from the Zoning Ordinance and special variance exceptions to the City’s sign ordinance determining if there is a hardship in each case. The Board of Adjustment also will hear and decide appeals regarding determinations made by an Administrative Official in the enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance.

Meetings

Meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm.  The 10/25/2023 meeting begins at 5:30 pm with training and the meeting begins at 7:00 pm. Applications for a variance should be submitted by the 1st of the month in order to be placed on that month's agenda.
