If you’re moving or no longer need water and trash services at your current address in the City of Lucas, you can request a service transfer or cancellation by submitting the form below.

📝 How to Submit Your Form

After completing the form, please submit it along with a copy of the account holder’s driver’s license to the Utility Billing Department using one of the following methods:

  • By Mail:
    City of Lucas – Utility Billing

    Lucas, TX 75002
  • In Person:
    Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding holidays)

⚠️ Required Documents:
– Completed Transfer/Cancel Request Form
– Copy of the account holder’s driver’s license


🔁 Transfer Services

  • Submit your request at least 3 business days before your move.
  • Provide both your current and new addresses on the form.
  • A final meter reading will be taken at your current address.

❌ Cancel Services

  • Submit your request at least 3 business days before your desired end date.
  • A final bill will be generated based on your meter reading.
  • Any applicable deposit will be refunded, minus any outstanding balance.

⏱️ Processing Time

Please allow 2 to 3 business days for processing. You will receive a confirmation email or call once your request has been reviewed.


💵 Final Billing & Fees

  • Final charges are prorated based on usage.
  • Deposits will be applied to your final bill, and any remaining balance will be refunded.
  • There is no fee for transferring or cancelling services.
